Ryan Preece a Sneaky DFS Play at Darlington
3 months agoDon't overlook Ryan Preece when building your DFS lineups for Darlington on Sunday night. The Stewart-Haas Racing driver has struggled quite a bit this season, but one bright spot was the first race here at Darlington back in May, where Preece started 26th and finished 17th. He scored 36 FPTS in DraftKings that day, and could be poised for another solid outing this weekend as well. Preece will roll off the starting grid from 30th-place for this weekend's Cook Out Southern 500, but his 18th-fastest 15-lap average during practice on Saturday points to the No. 41 Ford being much better than where it qualified. Additionally, Preece's teammates all showed very good speed on the long runs in practice, which means the No. 41 Ford should have similar power on Sunday. At just $5,600 on DraftKings, Preece makes for an excellent low-dollar Place Differential option on the DFS site.
