Ryan Noda Scratched From Tuesday's Lineup
7 months agoOakland Athletics first baseman Ryan Noda was scratched from Tuesday's starting lineup against the Texas Rangers for unknown reasons. Tyler Nevin is replacing him at first base and will hit seventh against Rangers right-hander Nathan Eovaldi. If Noda is dealing with an injury, we'll update you. The 28-year-old left-handed-hitting first baseman is off to a slow start for the A's in his second major-league season, going 7-for-33 (.212) with a double, no home runs, only one RBI, three runs scored, five walks and 12 strikeouts in his first 10 games. Nevin is a career .203 hitter with five homers and 29 RBI in 108 games in his major-league career and shouldn't be a popular sleeper consideration for DFS lineups on Tuesday. He's gone hitless in his three career at-bats against Eovaldi.
