Ryan Noda Absent From Tuesday's Lineup
1 year agoOakland Athletics first baseman Ryan Noda is missing from Tuesday's lineup for the game against the Seattle Mariners. The 27-year-old has been one of the positives of the A's season so far, slashing .224/.401/.422 with four bombs, 24 runs, 15 runs, and a pair of steals. However, manager Mark Kotsay prefers to keep him on the bench against lefties, so with southpaw Marco Gonzales on the bump, he'll take a seat. Jesus Aguilar is playing first base instead and batting cleanup. The 10-year veteran has seen better days, as he's batting .235 with five bombs, eight runs, and nine RBI through 34 games. But, Aguilar's sporting a .318 batting average off of left-handers, so fantasy managers looking for a first baseman should consider streaming the 32-year-old.
