Baltimore Orioles first baseman Ryan Mountcastle is absent from the starting lineup ahead of Sunday's contest against the Cleveland Guardians. This appears to be a routine rest day after Mountcastle played in eight straight games. He collected eight hits and nine RBI over that span of games. In his place, Eloy Jimenez will serve as the designated hitter while Ryan O'Hearn plays first base versus right-hander Gavin Williams.
