Ryan LaMarre Collects First Homer, Stolen Base Of Season
3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Ryan LaMarre went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, a walk, and a stolen base in Sunday's 9-1 blowout win over the Boston Red Sox. LaMarre's homer traveled 350 feet at 99.4 MPH. He reached base safely three times in the contest, scoring a pair of runs to boot. The 32-year-old was a solid contributor at the Triple-A level, batting .308 with 15 runs scored and eight stolen bases in 32 games played. With the recently acquired Tim Locastro (knee) done for the year and Clint Frazier sidelined, LaMarre should see his fair share of playing time in the Yankee outfield, making him one to watch for fantasy purposes.
