Ryan Jeffers Continues To Show Power
3 months agoMinnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's loss versus the San Diego Padres. The power hitting catcher now has 20 homers on the season to go along with 59 RBI and a .233 batting average in 326 at-bats. Jeffers has now homered three times over his last 15 at-bats as his power continues to surge. Despite his ability to go yard, he has been in a pretty even timeshare for most of the season with backstop Christian Vazquez. Because of his inconsistent play, Jeffers is hard to recommend on a daily basis in one-catcher leagues, but he is worth rostering in two-catcher formats.
