4 years agoNashville Predators defenseman Ryan Ellis (upper body) looks set to rejoin the lineup for Saturday's clash with Tampa after he was activated from Injured Reserve. The 32-year-old hasn't played since Feb. 28. The Predators have seen skaters drop like flies lately, so this is a big boost for a playoff-chasing team. Filip Forsberg, Eeli Tolvanen, Dante Fabbro and Mathieu Olivier all got sidelined this week. Ellis has been quiet with nine points in 21 games, but he'll be logging huge minutes on a depleted blue line.
