2 years agoThe Boston Red Sox optioned relief pitcher Ryan Brasier to Triple-A on Thursday. The move was made to clear space for Michael Wacha (intercostal), who will be returning from the injured list to start Friday's game against the Seattle Mariners. Brasier has been a trainwreck out of the bullpen this year, as have many of the team's relievers. He's made 18 appearances and he's pitched to a 6.28 ERA and a 1.47 WHIP.
