Penske Racing's Ryan Blaney started from the 10th position and finished second in Sunday's Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway. Blaney was running well at the start but was caught speeding just before the end of the first stage. Blaney would slowly make his way through the field, finishing fourth in the second stage and then taking the lead from teammate Joey Logano, with just over 100 laps to go. After leading 36 laps and pulling away, a caution bunched the field back together, and the No. 12 crew lost the lead on pit road. Blaney would move back up to second before the checkered flag flew, giving him his second runner-up finish at Martinsville, in 2020.--John Pitucci - RotoBaller
