3 months agoTeam Penske's Ryan Blaney will start the Cookout Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway from the seventh position this week. It is the 10th time in his Cup career that Blaney will start inside the Top 10 at Darlington. In 15 starts at DR, Blaney has three top-10 finishes, including two of the last three Cup events. After 25 races so far this season, Blaney has two wins and 11 top-10 finishes, including four of the previous seven Cup events. In practice, Blaney ranked eighth in overall lap averages while he was first in 20 and 25 consecutive lap averages. Despite little Place Differential upside and inconsistent history at Darlington, Blaney is a great tournament option due to his practice speeds and great equipment from Team Penske.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
