Chicago Bears offensive lineman Ryan Bates (concussion) has officially been ruled out for the team's home divisional clash against the Minnesota Vikings. Bates sustained a concussion in Chicago's 20-19 loss to the Green Bay Packers last Sunday. Unfortunately, the 27-year-old could not log even a limited session during this week's string of practices. The veteran has appeared in just three games this season while battling through elbow and shoulder injuries, and he'll now miss at least one more after not progressing through the league's concussion protocol. With Chicago also playing on Thanksgiving Day, he could be in danger of missing yet another contest. In his stead, teammate Teven Jenkins projects to hold down the Bears' left guard spot.--Alex CiullaRead More News
