Pittsburgh Penguins forward Rutger McGroarty has signed a three-year, entry-level contract, paving the way for him to make his NHL debut in 2024-25. The Penguins got McGroarty under contract shortly after acquiring him from the Winnipeg Jets for fellow forward prospect Brayden Yager. McGroarty is seen as an NHL-ready forward who could land himself a top-six job in 2024-25. The 20-year-old enters the big league following a standout campaign with the University of Michigan. McGroarty averaged an assist per game in 36 outings and posted 52 points with the Michigan Wolverines.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
