Russell Wilson and the Seahawks Agree to a Contract Extension
6 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks and quarterback Russell Wilson have agreed to a four-year, $140 million contract extension which includes a $65 million signing bonus. Wilson had imposed his own deadline, but he and the team made it in right before that deadline hit. Wilson becomes the league's highest-paid player, and the Seahawks lock down one of the league's best signal-callers for another four years. There was never a huge belief that Wilson and Seattle would part ways, but now any minor concerns can be put to rest.
