On Saturday night, Houston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook continued his high-volume, high-efficiency trend in this calendar year with a 120-110 win over the Utah Jazz. In a team-high 39 minutes, Westbrook recorded 34 points on 14-for-26 shooting and added six rebounds, four assists, and one steal. Over the first three months of the season, Westbrook averaged 24.2 points on 21.2 shots and hit 42.7 percent of them, but since the calendar flipped to 2020, the 2017 MVP has averaged 32.3 points per game while hitting 52.3 percent of his 25.3 shots. Owners that rode out some early season bumps with Brodie are reaping the rewards of their patience with some MVP numbers down the stretch of the fantasy basketball regular season.
