Russell Henley In Search Of Consistency
2 years agoFor a relatively short hitter that isn't exactly known for his short-game prowess, it might surprise you to know that Russell Henley has a pretty impressive Masters track record. Over his last five appearances, Henley has finished no worse than 30th and has recorded back-to-back top-15 finishes in 2017-2018. At his best, Henley does possess some of the most consistent iron play on the PGA Tour, but his calling card has been a bit come-and-go to start the 2023 campaign. Henley has lost strokes on approach in three of his last four starts coming into the Masters, with only one recorded top-20 finish since his win in Mayakoba last fall. That iron play will need to come back in a hurry if Henley hopes to extend his T30 streak.
