Ross Detwiler Gets Annihilated On Monday
3 years agoMiami Marlins relief pitcher Ross Detwiler, the starting pitcher in Monday's bullpen game, was thoroughly embarrassed by the Washington Nationals. Detwiler recorded just one inning of work, getting three outs while allowing eight runs on seven hits, giving up four home runs. Detwiler gave up four runs in the first inning and then was left on to allow another four in the second because why not at that point? His ERA skyrocketed to 6.11 and any sliver of trade value he might have had likely disappeared. It's going to be a long second half for the Marlins.
