3 weeks agoColorado Avalanche forward Ross Colton (lower body) is expected to be out for a while. Colton appeared to have injured his leg while blocking a shot in Monday's matchup against Chicago. After the game, the 28-year-old was seen in a walking boot, and Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar said that Colton will miss "some time." Colton has been on fire to start the season, scoring a team-high eight goals and totaling nine points in 10 games. He has been utilized on the top line and on the first power-play unit.
