Rory McIlroy Is The Biggest Favorite To Advance To Saturday
6 years agoRory McIlroy's minus-140 price to escape Group 4 is the largest number on the board this weekend. A lot of it has to do with his current form, but the 29-year-old did draw a favorable section. Matthew Fitzpatrick and Justin Harding were two of the weaker players from their respective segments, but we wouldn't mark McIlroy into the next round quite yet. Luke List was one of the better players from the range of 49-64, and Fitzpatrick did just go toe-to-toe with McIlroy at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, even getting the better of the 15-time PGA Tour winner during that Sunday. While McIlroy leads the field with a 22 percent projected ownership on DraftKings, we will be fading the fourth-ranked player in the world in Texas. Our money is on Luke List to advance, but we wouldn't be shocked to see Fitzpatrick find a way to get the job done either.
