Ronald Jones II Posts Disappointing Week 5 Performance
5 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II was starting to establish himself as the lead back in the Bucs backfield, only to post 35 yards on nine attempts in the Bucs Week 5 loss to the Saints. Jones led the Bucs backfield in touches and targets, but by a very slight margin. He touched the ball a total of 11 times to Peyton Barber's nine. Not exactly what fantasy owners were hoping for after two consecutive weeks where Jones looked to be establishing himself as the top option in the Bucs' backfield. Jones doesn't have the toughest matchup in Week 6 with the Carolina Panthers on deck, but considering the current state of the Bucs backfield he won't be a recommended fantasy option.
