Ronald Acuna Jr. Gets Good News After MRI
2 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. (shoulder) went for an MRI after exiting Monday's Game 2 of a doubleheader when he was hit by a pitch on the left shoulder. The MRI came back clean and there is no fracture, and the superstar is now day-to-day. Fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief, as Acuna will likely avoid an injured-list stint and continue providing value in all categories. Through 29 games so far, he's slashing .363/.450/.584 with five long balls, 26 runs, 15 RBI, and 13 steals. If Acuna does miss a few games, fantasy managers can expect Sam Hilliard to fill in. The 29-year-old is having a career year, hitting .276 with three homers and four steals across 21 games and is a solid streaming option.
