5 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. (wrist) got the green light to return Tuesday against the Yankees and right-hander Gerrit Cole, ending his stint on the injured list due to a sore wrist. Acuna slots right back into the leadoff spot, with Dansby Swanson and Freddie Freeman after him. Prior to his last game on Aug. 10, he had homered three times in his previous three outings, having caught fire after some early season struggles. While facing Cole is likely to be a stingy matchup, the return of the No. 1 overall pick in most season-long formats is cause for celebration. He can be expected to hold down the leadoff spot every day moving forward.--Jesse Borek
