Roman Quinn Exits With Groin Strain
6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Roman Quinn left the game early on Wednesday with a right groin strain. He'll be re-examined on Thursday. It's an injury that could put him back on the injured list after getting a late start to the year with an oblique strain. Quinn had a single, RBI and strikeout in four plate appearances on Wednesday and is hitting just .120 with a run and RBI in his first 27 plate appearances. Aaron Altherr could see more starts in the outfield if Quinn needs to miss some time. Remember, Odubel Herrera is also hurt right now as well. Quinn is only usable in the deepest of NL-only leagues, but only if he's healthy.
