Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi (lower body) will not be in the lineup on Thursday against Dallas. He will skip his first game of the season after sustaining a lower-body injury in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to Calgary. Nashville has just tied its franchise record with an eighth consecutive loss, and Josi's absence is a further blow for the struggling team. The Predators captain has put up a team-high 23 points (seven goals, 16 assists) in 29 games. Kevin Gravel is expected to draw into the lineup as Josi's replacement. Josi plays in all situations and averages close to 25 minutes of ice time, so there is a massive gap to fill for Nashville at the back.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
