Robinson Cano Works Out Monday

New York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano (quadriceps) did some jogging, quad exercises and hit in the cages on Monday. Cano is making good progress, but we don't know yet when he'll go on a rehab assignment or return from the injured list. Fantasy owners should be concerned with his lack of power (three home runs in 170 at-bats), and the 36-year-old is hitting a mediocre .241/.287/.371 with 15 runs and 13 RBI in his first year with New York. Adeiny Hechavarria has had a hot bat while seeing everyday playing time in Cano's absence and is worth owning in NL-only leagues in the short term.
