Robinson Cano Feels Great
6 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano, 36, said he feels "like I'm 25" heading into his first camp with the team after being traded from the Mariners this offseason. "I always feel like that," Cano said. "I never feel like I'm 30. … I feel good, physically and mentally. For me, that's what matters as a player." Cano served an 80-game suspension last year and was also injured, hitting .303/.374/.471 with 10 home runs and 50 RBI in only 80 games. While the upside isn't as high as it was earlier in his career when he played for the Yankees, Cano has remained pretty durable in his career and can deliver solid numbers as a low-end second baseman in mixed leagues.
