Robinson Cano A Candidate To Return To New York?
6 years agoThe Seattle Mariners are willing to trade second baseman Robinson Cano this offseason, and the Mariners have reached out to the Yankees and Mets. However, dealing the 36-year-old who is owed $120 million over the next five seasons will be extremely difficult, especially after he served an 80-game suspension for violating the league's drug policy in 2018. Cano also has a full no-trade clause in his contract. The veteran still managed to hit .303/.374/.471 with 10 home runs and 50 RBI in 310 at-bats this year. Moving back to the Bronx would be good news for his fantasy value, but a trade seems unlikely for now.
