Robin Lehner Stellar In Losing Effort
6 years agoNew York Islanders goaltender Robin Lehner had a season-high 38 saves on Wednesday against Florida, but he still ended up on the losing side after the team let a two-goal lead slip in the third period. The Isles got outshot 41-22, so Lehner needed a lot more from his teammates. The Swedish netminder has just two wins in five starts this season with a 2.67 goals-against average, but he's actually done pretty well personally, posting a .926 save percentage. He's provided 75 saves in his last two outings, so it's been the offense that had let the Islanders down so far.
