Robin Lehner Getting Close To Return
3 years agoVegas Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner (lower body) remains out for Wednesday's clash with Seattle, but he's getting close to returning to action. Lehner appeared to have suffered a setback when he left Tuesday's practice early, but he was back on the ice at Wednesday's morning skate and continues to work towards his comeback. The Swedish netminder last played on Mar. 8. Vegas head coach Peter DeBoer has been quoted saying that Lehner is "a day away" from returning, so it's possible that he'll be ready for Friday's rematch with the Kraken. Logan Thompson has gotten most of the starts with Lehner unavailable, and he's set to go again Wednesday night. The 25-year-old rookie is 5-4-0 for the season and will try to grab a third consecutive victory.
