Roberto Perez Expected To Return Saturday

Cleveland Indians catcher Roberto Perez (finger), who had finger surgery on May 7, is expected to be activated from the injured list on Saturday. Before the injury, Perez was hitting just .131/.274/.295 with three home runs and nine RBI in 73 plate appearances for the Tribe this year. He wasn't much better during the shortened 2020 season, slashing .165/.264/.216 with a homer and five RBI over 32 games (110 plate appearances). The 32-year-old should share playing time behind the dish with Austin Hedges when he returns, but he only has value in really deep two-catcher or AL-only leagues.
