6 years agoToronto Blue Jays closer Roberto Osuna is expected to be suspended by Major League Baseball on Friday night, according to their domestic-violence policy. Osuna has been out of action since early May, and while he did look like his normal self when active with nine saves and a 2.93 ERA, the forthcoming suspension could hold him out for 50 games judging by prior occurrences. Regardless, we should have a decision by Friday night, and Ryan Tepera will likely continue to be the closer for the near future. You can't outright drop Osuna just yet, but it's looking like he might not be back with Toronto until later this season.--Matthew Sparrow
