Robert Woods A Desperation PPR Flex Play
2 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Robert Woods has seen an average of 6.4 targets over his last five games, but he's only totaled 16 receptions for 150 yards over that stretch. His upside is low as an aging wideout who lacks explosiveness in the weak Titans' passing offense, but he is the target leader on the season with 68. Since Treylon Burks (concussion) has been ruled out, Woods could pay off as a desperation flex play in PPR leagues against the Los Angeles Chargers. There's a chance the Titans get behind big early and are forced into a pass-happy game script, so a six-catch, 50-yard day isn't out of reach for the veteran wideout.
