Robert Tonyan A Boom-Or-Bust Option In Week 3
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Robert Tonyan will go on the road to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday. After recording five targets in Week 1 against Minnesota, the 28-year-old was only thrown too twice last week against Chicago. However, Green Bay is shorthanded at the wide receiver position heading into this matchup. Sammy Watkins (hamstring) has been ruled out, while Christian Watson (hamstring) and Randall Cobb (illness) are both questionable. If Watson and Cobb miss the game, Tonyan could see an increased target share as the No. 3 option for quarterback Aaron Rodgers. That said, the matchup against Tampa Bay is not favorable. The fifth-year tight end is a viable streaming option due to the potential volume he will receive, but he is boom or bust, as you will likely be unhappy with his fantasy output unless he finds the end zone.
