Robby Anderson, Trumaine Johnson Out
6 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson (ankle) and cornerback Trumaine Johnson (quadriceps) have both been ruled out for Week 8 against the Bears. Anderson's absence, along with Quincy Enunwa (ankle) being out, is good news for Jermaine Kearse, although he put up a dud last week with Enunwa out. Andre Roberts and recently-signed Rishard Matthews could also play big roles in the passing game. Rookie quarterback Sam Darnold needs to be downgraded with a thin receiving group to work with. Johnson's absence continues to hurt this secondary, but Morris Claiborne and Marcus Maye being active should help them slow down the Bears passing attack.
