3 months agoLos Angeles Angels right-handed pitcher Roansy Contreras threw a perfect ninth inning to secure his second save of the season in a 3-2 win over the New York Mets on Sunday. Contreras set down the bottom of the Mets order with a pair of strikeouts and a flyout. While this usage is a little bit frustrating for fantasy managers who have picked up either Ben Joyce or Hunter Strickland, it appears as though neither were available for this game after both pitched yesterday and had thrown a lot of pitches in the last few weeks.
