Right Forearm Tightness For Tyler Glasnow
6 years agoUpdating a previous report, Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (forearm) left his start early on Friday against the Yankees with right forearm tightness. He will be re-evaluated on Saturday. It doesn't sound good, but we'll know more on Saturday. Glasnow has arguably been the best pitcher in baseball so far this year, so losing him for any amount of time would be a big blow to the Rays and his fantasy owners. The 25-year-old righty had allowed five hits and three earned runs while walking two and fanning nine in 5 1/3 innings before leaving his start. He has a tidy 1.86 ERA with a nice 10.24 K/9 in his eight starts in 2019.
