2 months agoRico Hoey is a prime example of the old adage, "it's not how you start, but how you finish." The 29-year-old American-Filipino started off his first season on Tour with four consecutive missed cuts, but ended the season with six consecutive made cuts, including three finishes inside of the top-10. One of the major improvements he made down the stretch was in his short game, where he was able to reverse his putting woes, gaining strokes on the greens in six of his last seven starts. Hoey did lose strokes putting in his first start this season at the Procore Championship, but if he can get hot with his flat stick at the Country Club of Jackson, he could be in line for another strong performance. Over the last 36 rounds, he ranks 14th in driving distance, 17th in good drive percentage, 16th from tee-to-green, 34th in birdie-or-better percentage, and second in strokes gained on easy courses. Fantasy managers should strongly consider embracing Hoey's volatility at his flat $8,000 DraftKings salary this week.--Ryan Hickey
