Richaun Holmes Picks Up Questionable Tag Versus Bulls
1 year agoWashington Wizards center Richaun Holmes (toe) has been listed as questionable again for Saturday night against the Chicago Bulls. The veteran big man has missed the last three games while dealing with a sprained big toe and is now in danger of missing a fourth in a row. If he can suit up, Holmes would take the starting center spot again. They've been rolling with a small-ball lineup in their starting five with Deni Avdija (knee), Corey Kispert, and Kyle Kuzma in the frontcourt. Since Avdija is also listed as questionable, Holmes could be in line for an even bigger role if he misses the game. Kuzma and Kispert would be the biggest beneficiaries if Holmes has to remain sidelined.

Richaun Holmes Out Versus Jazz
1 month agoWashington Wizards center Richaun Holmes (knee) is unavailable for Wednesday's matchup with the Utah Jazz. Holmes will miss his first game since January 25th due to a knee issue. The 31-year-old's next chance to get back in the lineup is Saturday against the Raptors. With Holmes out of action, 19-year-old rookie Alexandre Sarr (ankle) will be provided extra minutes and possibly a boost in fantasy production this evening. Tristan Vukcevic could also see an expanded role in the contest.

Richaun Holmes Declines Player Option
9 months agoWashington Wizards center Richaun Holmes declined his $12.8 million player option. However, he has agreed to a new two-year, $25.9 million contract to remain with the Wizards. The 30-year-old averaged double-digit scoring in three of his four seasons with the Sacramento Kings. Since then, he struggled to find a meaningful role in Dallas and Washington. Although Holmes adds depth to a rebuilding team, he will likely have issues getting on the floor moving ahead, which won't improve his fantasy value for the 2024-25 campaign.

Richaun Holmes Remains Out On Friday
12 months agoWashington Wizards forward/center Richaun Holmes (toe) won't be able to return to the lineup on Friday against Chicago. The team has downgraded Holmes from questionable to out, meaning an eighth consecutive absence for him. Tristan Vukcevic is available again on Friday and should make another start in a decent matchup. The 21-year-old has looked very promising in his first few outings in the NBA, averaging 14.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks in three previous starts.

Richaun Holmes Questionable Against Chicago
12 months agoWashington Wizards center Richaun Holmes (toe) has been tagged as questionable ahead of their Friday night matchup with the Chicago Bulls. The veteran big man has been a mainstay on the injury report this year, so his status has been even more difficult to judge as the season has come to a close. He hasn't played in the last seven consecutive games and it seems he would more than likely miss an eighth since the Wizards are more concerned with getting the best draft pick possible. If he's watching from the sidelines again, Anthony Gill would be the best big as a streaming option, but is a very risky selection, especially in DFS lineups.
