Rich Hill to Make Rehab Start Thursday, Could Return Next Week
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Rich Hill (blister) will be making a rehab start Thursday for Rancho Cucamonga. The plan is for Hill to throw four or five innings and then pitch for the Dodgers in his next outing. Assuming all goes well, Hill would be slated to start in Chicago next week. In six starts this season, Hill has a 6.20 ERA, 1.74 WHIP, 25 strikeouts and 24 2/3 innings pitched. Hill can be picked up if he's on the waiver wire, but given his early-season struggles and tough matchup at the Cubs, it may be wise to leave him on the bench until we know he's back to his usual ways.
