Rich Hill Heading To Injured List
5 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers will place starting pitcher Rich Hill (forearm) on the injured list on Thursday, and he will undergo an MRI exam after leaving his start after one inning on Thursday with left forearm discomfort. Hill said a "very preliminary ultrasound" showed that his ligament is intact. The left-hander said his arm had bothered him his last two starts, but he's hoping he'll only need to miss a few turns through the rotation. Hill had Tommy John surgery in 2011 and has been plagued by injuries throughout his career, but when healthy he has the stuff to be a high-end fantasy arm. Keep him stashed and hope for the best. Ross Stripling is the likely candidate to fill in for Hill in the meantime, and he'll have value in deep mixed leagues as a starter.
