Rhys Hoskins Smacks Game-Winning Home Run
6 years agoStill stuck in a terrible slump, Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Rhys Hoskins perhaps broke out with a major home run. Taking on the New York Mets at Citi Field Friday night, Hoskins smacked a solo home run in the eighth inning, breaking a three-all deadlock. It was a much-needed moment for Hoskins, who's hitting .172 over the last month and had been hitless in 14 consecutive plate appearances before the home run. It would be the decisive blow as the Phillies picked up a much-needed victory.
