Reynaldo Lopez Keeps Rolling

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Reynaldo Lopez kept rolling Wednesday against the Pirates. Lopez turned in a career-high 7 1/3 innings, striking out six while scattering three hits and two walks. Lopez allowed two earned runs on two Pirates home runs, but otherwise, he was dominant. He had some hard luck in failing to pick up the win, as the White Sox bullpen blew yet another lead. Lopez has had good luck on the season thus far, outpitching his 4.94 FIP with a 2.44 ERA. However, in his start against Pittsburgh, he flashed legit ace potential. He was striking out plenty of batters and inducing weak contact. His next start lines up against the Pirates again on May 15th.
