Redskins Targeting Dwayne Haskins In First Round
6 years agoThe Washington Redskins are targeting Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins in the first round of the draft on Thursday as they search for a franchise signal-caller, according to sources. Washington picks at No. 15, so they'd likely have to trade up inside the top 10 to land Haskins, who some teams haven't even given a first-round grade to. It'd be a risky move, but the Redskins are in need of a quarterback with Alex Smith's (leg) career in jeopardy. The team traded for Case Keenum as a short-term fix this offseason. Haskins would have very little redraft value if he landed in D.C.
