Redskins Agree With Cody Latimer
5 years agoThe Washington Redskins agreed to an undisclosed deal with wide receiver Cody Latimer on Wednesday, according to a source. Latimer, a former second-round pick of the Broncos in the 2014 draft, spent the last two seasons with the Giants and had a career-high 24 receptions (42 targets) for 300 yards and two touchdowns in 15 games (10 starts) for New York in 2019. The 27-year-old has 70 career catches for 935 yards (13.4 yards per grab) and six touchdowns in 66 games (15 starts) in his six-year NFL career. There is opportunity in D.C. behind Terry McLaurin and Steven Sims Jr., but Latimer will have to compete for targets with Kelvin Harmon and Cam Sims, and the Redskins will also likely add some bodies at the position through the draft.
