1 year agoThe Cincinnati Reds have designated right-hander Tony Santillan for assignment on Tuesday, as the club needed space on the 40-man roster for the newly promoted Alejo Lopez. The 26-year-old has only pitched 3 1/3 innings this season as he dealt with a back and hamstring issue that sidelined him until July. Santillan owns a career 3.66 ERA, 1.49 WHIP, and 25.7% strikeout rate across three seasons, all with the Reds. If he latches on with another club, he likely won't be a factor late in ball games, so fantasy managers can ignore him in all leagues.--Spencer Seguin
