Red Sox To Start Bobby Dalbec In Right Field On Tuesday
6 months agoBobby Dalbec will start for the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday, but not at his usual first base or designated hitter role. Instead, Dalbec will start in right field for the first time in his Major League Baseball career in place of the injured Wilyer Abreu (ankle) and will bat seventh in the order. Dalbec is slashing .132/.207/.170 with four RBI and three runs scored in 23 games. He has played the position before, having played 15 games in Triple-A in right field. The power potential for Dalbec is always there, but fantasy managers are best leaving him out of their lineup.
