6 years agoThe Boston Red Sox are close to finalizing their roster for the American League Division Series, and both pitchers Brian Johnson and Hector Velazquez won't make the roster, but they will remain with the team during the playoffs in case an injury occurs. Second baseman Brandon Phillips was sent home. The final two relief spots on the roster will likely come down to Joe Kelly, Heath Hembree, Brandon Workman, Bobby Poyner, Drew Pomeranz and William Cuevas.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
