Ravens Bring Back Anthony Levine
4 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens agreed to an undisclosed one-year deal with free-agent safety Anthony Levine on Wednesday. Levine will return for his 10th season in Baltimore and 12th season in the NFL in 2021. He has been a special teams staple and a veteran leader, playing over 50 percent of the team's special teams snaps every year since 2013. Levine missed one game in 2020 due to a nagging abdomen injury, snapping the 34-year-old's streak of 117 straight games played. He still managed to log the fourth-most snaps on special teams, although his defensive snaps dropped to 30, his fewest since 2015. Baltimore's special teams unit finished second overall last year in efficiency, and Levine is a big reason why.
