Raul Rosas Jr. Picks Up Submission Win
6 months agoRaul Rosas Jr. scored a second-round submission win over Ricky Turcios on the main card of UFC Louisville on Saturday. Rosas Jr. entered the fight as the favorite and in the first round, he got Turcios down and had 3:40 of control time. After dominating the first round on the mat, Rosas Jr. got Turcios back down to the ground and eventually ahold of his back and sunk in a rear naked choke. With the win, Rosas Jr. is now 9-1 as a pro and 3-1 in the UFC, with all three wins coming by stoppage. Rosas Jr. is now likely a win away from fighting a ranked opponent.
