Rashard Higgins Week-To-Week With Knee Sprain
6 years agoCleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson said wide receiver Rashard Higgins (knee) is week-to-week with an MCL sprain. These types of injuries usually require two to four weeks of rest, so don't expect Higgins back in Week 6 against the Chargers. It's a shame because Higgins was looking like a legitimate No. 2 behind Jarvis Landry after he caught three of four targets for 66 yards and his first touchdown of the year in the Week 5 overtime win over the Ravens. With Higgins out, rookie Antonio Callaway should remain as the No. 2, but the Browns are actively limiting his snaps. Rookies Damion Ratley and Derrick Willies or Rod Streater could see more of an active role in the following weeks.
