Rashan Gary Wearing Shoulder Brace
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers defensive end Rashan Gary (shoulder), the team's first-round pick at No. 12 overall, practiced for the first time this weekend with a brace on his right shoulder. Gary played in just nine games for Michigan last year due to his shoulder injury, but the team's medical staff cleared him during the pre-draft process. He is disputing reports that he's dealing with a torn labrum, and the Packers think he can play through the injury in his rookie season. Gary didn't appear to be limited at all in practices, but the rookies were held to only individual drills and 7-on-7 workouts. Gary has a lot of potential but didn't really live up to it in college, so he has bust potential in the NFL, especially if he's not healthy.
